Women of Faith Awards

The Women of Faith Awards were established in 1986 to honor women in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) who have transformed the church and society through their witness, service and leadership.

Nominations are received from throughout the church and honorees are selected by a committee of representatives from groups officially related to the Women's Ministries Area. Awards are presented at the Women of Faith Breakfast during the General Assembly. This breakfast is an annual celebration of God's activity in the lives of women and their response to God's presence.

The theme for 2008 is "Visionary Women Transforming the Church and Society." Nominations are closed for the 2008 awards.
